Got that weird feeling like you've stepped into some kind of time warp or like the Matrix code was just updated and now there's another black cat? Yeah me too.
Electronic Arts has once again obtained the title of Worst Company in America according to angry consumers on the web. The Consumerist says that EA has failed to: "1) provide a product people want and like, 2) Sell that product at a reasonable price, and 3) Support the products you sell." These three items, and a legion of unhappy fanboys made EA another easy target for the yearly lambasting of corporate America.
Thanks to the internet, I can't really take any of the voting here seriously. EA is worse than the big banks? Worse than the cable companies? Maybe the people getting screwed over by the banks don't have a house to browse the internet in anymore. Maybe the people who wanted to vote for Comcast or the other telecoms had their vote blocked by oppressive and intrusive internet monitoring.
EA "wins," I guess. If consumers are worried about EA's practices, then I wonder how the publisher will react as the money flowing in says to do one thing and everyone else just keeps bitching loudly.
