During a Ubisoft earnings call, the publisher revealed that there are two major unannounced projects in the works at the company, one of which is a new IP while the other is based on an established AAA franchise.
Both projects will be “unveiled during the course of the year,” which is likely in regards to Ubisoft's fiscal year ending March 2014. According to CEO Yves Guillemot, the new IP, along with the upcoming futuristic open-world action game Watch Dogs, will “capitalize on the launch” of next-gen hardware.
As for what this mystery title based on a well-established IP might be, there are a number of possibilities. It could be a new Assassin's Creed game for the Vita, a new Ghost Recon title, or maybe even a fresh entry in the Prince of Persia series. Oh yeah, and what ever happened to that new Rainbow 6 game?
