Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive

Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive deal announced as part of PC lineup

An Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive deal has been announced today. Microsoft has recently announced that it is going to be bringing its Xbox Game Pass service to PC. This will open the door for devs with games on multiple platforms (including those with no Xbox One titles, presumably) to join Microsoft’s subscription service. Now, Focus Home Interactive has stated that it’s going to be joining the PC side of this service.

If you’ve been living under a rock, the Xbox Game Pass is a service where you get access to a library of hundreds of titles on the Xbox One for a monthly fee with no other strings attached. As long as you keep your subscription active, you’ll continue to have access to the games just as if you had owned them. Microsoft is expanding this program to the PC, and Focus Home Interactive has stated on their Twitter that they will be one of the companies making some of their titles available on this new platform for Microsoft’s subscription service.

Focus Home Interactive has not stated which of its games will be making its way to the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass. So far, a few Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive titles are already available on the Xbox One:

  • Farming Simulator 17
  • Mudrunner
  • The Surge
  • Vampyr

All four of the above titles are also available on PC, so we may very well see these expanded to the PC as part of the Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive deal.

However, Focus Home Interactive also has several games that are available on PC (and/or PS4) but not on the Xbox One. These include several titles from the Warhammer 40,000 franchise like the Battlefleet Gothic games, Fear the Wolves, and the Space Run games. Of course, there are also a number of titles that they have available on the Xbox One but are not yet on the game pass. There are certainly plenty of possibilities in Focus Home Interactive’s extensive library of games!

We’ll have to wait and see which games will be making their way to the PC thanks to the Xbox Game Pass Focus Home Interactive deal. If you don’t yet already have Xbox Game Pass, you can sign up for just $1 for your first month.
