The newest game from Tequila Works and Stadia Games and Entertainment has come to life. The Gylt official trailer was one of several reveals from Google Stadia. The horror game will have you running from nightmarish monsters in hopes of finding your missing cousin.
Whenever a trailer opens with a slow, lullaby-like musical score, you know you’re in for terror. In a devastated town full of debris and unsettling silence, a young girl walks alone through the streets. Sally is searching the ruined area for her missing cousin, Emily. She passes Emily’s missing person poster and eventually winds up in a school. The school is ravaged, with graffiti lining the walls and desks overturned. Missing person posters cover a corkboard in a hallway. With only a flashlight to guide her way, Sally explores what’s left of the building. But she’s not alone.
Sally must hide under desks, creep down corridors, and run for her life from the monsters that are hunting her. Everything in the world adds to the creepy atmosphere: Mannequins turn toward her flashlight, the monsters spawn from nowhere, and there seems to be nothing Sally can do besides try to outrun them or find a safe hiding spot.
Gylt is one of the first exclusive games for the upcoming Google Stadia service. Set to release this later year, the Google Stadia is a cloud video game streaming service capable of streaming games in 4K resolution and at 60 frames per second. It is integrated with YouTube and debuted a closed beta running Assassin’s Creed Odyssey back in October 2018. Better yet, it will offer a free library of games over time. Sound appealing?
