Control E3 2019 Teaser

Control E3 2019 Teaser Trailer builds up a supernatural shooter

The Control E3 2019 Teaser Trailer is here and it does an excellent job of hyping us up for this upcoming game from Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games. Control is all about Jesse Faden, the Director of an agency tasked with keeping a handle on supernatural phenomena like the X-Files. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone so well for Ms. Faden and she’ll have quite the mystery to unravel while making use of supernatural powers and weapons.

“We are about to be exposed to a different kind of resonance,” the trailer’s narration begins. “Hostile, viral, invasive, resonance.” The narration is overlaid with creepy images of the facility you’ll be exploring in the game. It first opens with a portrait of main character Jesse Faden, the new Director of the facility who has absolutely everything go wrong on her first day. We then move on to a long hallway with an ominous red light flashing in the background. After that, we see what appears to be three soldiers floating in the same ominous red light, glowing and seemingly devoid of life.

The Control E3 2019 Teaser Trailer then shifts to what appears to be some sort of testing lab or containment room. A scientist is talking about how if a particular entity escapes, it would be “the end”. Some more conversation about these entities takes place before Jesse Faden walks in on a janitor.

“Don’t worry,” the janitor begins. “It’ll be, uh, quick and painless.”

I’m sure the janitor was probably talking about cleaning the floor, but spooky games like Control can make doing the laundry seem terrifying. This trailer has certainly done a fine job of establishing the spooky mode of the game; you can watch the Control E3 2019 Teaser Trailer for yourself below.

Control is expected to launch sometime in 2019. No price has been announced. In the meantime, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
