E3 2019 | FIFA 20 EA Access and Origin Access release date revealed

The FIFA 20 release date for the EA Access and Origin Access versions of the game has been revealed, with the game releasing early for subscribers to both of the services. As usual, EA Access and Origin Access will offer PC and console subscribers the opportunity to play the game early. In FIFA 20‘s case, it’ll be a great deal earlier than the game’s official release date

FIFA 20 will release on EA Access and Origin Access on September 19, 2019. The game’s official release date is September 27, 2019, meaning that for subscribers of these paid-for services, the game will release a whole 8 days earlier than if they were to pick up the new EA game at retail.

As per usual, the EA Access and Origin Access trials will last for 10 hours. However, all of the progress made for these trials will carry over to the main game, meaning that when it becomes readily available to all players, all progress made across its single-player and multiplayer modes will transfer to the full game.

It’s a big gap between the release of the EA Access and Origin Access versions of the game and the full release, so die-hard FIFA 20 players will inevitably want to pick up a subscription in order to make sure they get access to the game before anyone else.

Elsewhere during the EA Play E3 2019 presentation, a new gameplay trailer revealed FIFA 20‘s Football Intelligence system, while it was also announced that a brand new FIFA Street-esque mode labeled VOLTA would be introduced to the upcoming soccer game. This will see players engage in 5-a-side matches which will focus heavily on tricks and skill moves, similar to the series’ street-based spin-off franchise.
