Persona 5 Royal E3 2019 Trailer highlights English voice acting

The Persona 5 Royal E3 2019 Trailer is here and it makes a point of highlighting the game’s excellent English voice acting. The trailer shows us a lovely mix of animated scenes, social gameplay, and combat for this upcoming enhanced edition of 2016’s Persona 5.

The trailer, which you can see below, begins with us seeing the Phantom Thieves fly around on the screen in a dynamic, colorful animated scene. We then get a bit of narration from some of the game’s voice actors that shows a little walking around and a few scenes from the game. Animated scenes from the game are interspersed with gameplay in the Persona 5 Royal E3 2019 Trailer.

At one point in the trailer, we get to see the game’s heroes take a moment to head to the Penguin Sniper and enjoy some darts and billiards. We then segue back into gameplay where the Phantom Thieves battle various enemies from different points in the game.  The trailer then concludes with Joker flying over the city in his Phantom Thieves outfit before we see a title drop and a release date for the game.

Persona 5 Royal is an enhanced version of Persona 5 that’s expected to launch worldwide sometime in 2020. Although this new version of the game is going to look a bit better thanks to PS4 Pro Support, there will be more substantial changes beyond the cosmetic side of things. A new character, new social interactions with existing characters, several quality-of-life changes, and more are making their way into this updated version of the game.

Persona 5 has performed pretty well for Atlus, selling nearly 3 million copies since its release. This new version is sure to get fans excited, even though it may not be making its way to other platforms. This new version will give fans plenty to do, especially since your save data from the original game isn’t going to carry over to Persona 5 Royal.
