[Update] Microsoft has just confirmed that a high definition of the 2004 RPG classic is in fact real and is titled Fable Anniversary. The game will be an HD remake of the original Fable and will include the additional content from The Lost Chapters. As expected, it will also include Achievements, as well as SmartGlass support.
Fable Anniversary will be coming to the Xbox 360 as is evidenced by the box art you see below.

[Original] It appears that the team over at Lionhead Studios has been working on an HD remake of the original Fable, which launched on the Xbox One back in 2004.
On the company's blog, a new post teases the upcoming high-def release with a trailer (below) along with the caption: "Here’s a sneak peak at a little something we’ve been working on…"
You'll notice at the end of the teaser is the Xbox 360 logo, not the Xbox One. During the company's recent console reveal, Microsoft did say that it plans to support the Xbox 360 for quite some time as well.
I'm sure we'll be hearing more about Fable HD at the Microsoft E3 press conference. Until then, be sure to sound off in the comments below with your thoughts on such a remake. Are you excited?
