A new Humble sale is bringing huge discounts to some of Square Enix Japan‘s best games. The Square Enix Japan sale, called Square Enix Japan Humble’s Greatest Hits, drops the price of classics like Chrono Trigger by 50%, meaning the PC versions of several of the best JRPGs of all time now cost less than $10 U.S. This also comes alongside other sales on Bethesda, Sega, Activision, Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, 2K, and Rockstar.
Humble announced the Square Enix Japan sale, which ends on July 22, on Monday. Square Enix classics like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 6, and Final Fantasy 5 are all on sale for 50% off, bringing their prices to about $6 to $8. Final Fantasy 7‘s PC port, meanwhile, is only 20% off, making its sale price $9.59. More modern Final Fantasy games have also received discounts, with Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition, Final Fantasy 13, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13-2, and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD all receiving 50% discounts. Final Fantasy 12 The Zodiac Age and the Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster both have shallower discounts, as each game’s price is dropped by 20%.

Beyond Final Fantasy and Square Enix’s other, more widely-beloved titles, there are still more discounts to be found. Lost Sphear, I Am Setsuna, and the Secret of Mana remake, each met with varying degrees of mediocre reception upon release, discounted at 60%, 60%, and 50% off, respectively. The chibi-fied re-releases of Final Fantasy 4, its Final Fantasy 4: The After Years epilogue, and Final Fantasy 3 also received discounts, and the Dragon Quest spin-off Dragon Quest Heroes games are also discounted. Perhaps sweetest of all is a 50% discount to the critically panned The Quiet Man. 2018’s self-identified “worst game of the year,” the hilariously bad The Quiet Man is available for just $7.49.
Alongside the Square Enix Japan sale, Humble is also featuring a Very Positive Sale, discounting indie games with “very positive” reviews. The sale’s notable deals include Slay the Spire for $12.49, Frostpunk for $14.99, Dead Cells for $19.99, Hollow Knight for $9.89, Moonlighter for $9.99, Wargroove for $13.99, and many more. The Very Positive Sale ends on July 22, same as the Square Enix Japan sale.
The Square Enix Japan sale appears to be the last in a line of major Humble’s Greatest Hits sales from several publishers, including Activision, Bethesda, Sega, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, 2K, Rockstar, and Square Enix’s non-Japanese titles. All but two of these sales end tomorrow, July 18, at 1 PM EST.
Activision’s sale, which includes Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, ends on July 19, and Rockstar’s sale, which includes various Grand Theft Auto 5 content, ends on July 25. Among these sales are several notable deals, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Gold Edition for $39.99, Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $23.99, Monster Hunter: World Deluxe Edition for $39.46, and Life Is Strange – Complete Season for $3.99.
Humble began as a marketplace dedicated to selling its signature Humble Bundles, which bundle together several games in tiered payment groups. The site now sells games individually, providing game keys for platforms like Steam and GOG. A portion of all proceeds from Humble-sold products goes to charity.
