Sony is incredibly confident in its next-gen gaming box. With some serious power under the hood and an appealing $399 price tag, the PlayStation 4 has become the upcoming console of choice among the majority gamers.

The PlayStation manufacturer knows this, and is only digging that knife deeper into Microsoft's back. Speaking to GamesIndustry, senior VP Guy Longsworth said, "The reality is that every time a generation changes the playing field is leveled. We actually think that we're going to have superior graphic fidelity, but the whole value proposition has to be right."

But "it's not just about graphic fidelity" Longsworth added, explaining that there are so many other important factors at play here, which include: "What are our policies? What are our principles? What do we stand for, and how do we communicate it?"

Do you think there will be a visible disparity between the graphic fidelity of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, or will the games on both sides look relatively the same? Let us know in the comments below.
