If you ever wanted to know how it feels to play Bethesda’s MMORPG with a Plus subscription, now is your chance. A The Elder Scrolls Online play for free trial is running right now and ends on August 13, at 10:00 AM EDT.

Since this free trial is running alongside the Orsinium Celebration Event, you have the option to explore the home of the Orcs and reap some bonus rewards.

With the The Elder Scrolls Online play for free trial you gain access to some perks that are only available to Plus subscribers (which is entirely different from PlayStation Plus in case there was any confusion). The most significant one is unlimited access to the DLC game packs, which include Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Shadows of the Hist, Horns of the Reach, Clockwork City, Dragon Bones, Morrowind (zone and story), Wolfhunter, Murkmire, Wrathstone, and Summerset (zone and story). You’ll get to explore new zones, quests, dungeons and more.

The craft bag will offer you unlimited storage for crafting materials, all characters on your account will get double bank space, and you get double furnishings and collectibles space in player housing. You also get a 10% increase to experience and gold acquisition, crafting inspiration, and trait research rates. This free trial will even give you the ability to dye your costumes, something that every player should do at least once, and you also get Double Transmute Crystal storage.

All you need to do to enjoy the benefits of the Plus subscription for a limited time is to log into The Elder Scrolls Online, navigate to the Crown Store, select the ESO Plus tab and pick the “free trial” option. You don’t have to share your credit card info to take advantage of this trial.

Final Fantasy 14 is another MMORPG that is running a play for free campaign now. Aimed at returning players, it offers them up to six days of adventures without an active subscription.
