A group of Fallout 76 players called “Queen Killers R Us” have defeated the game’s hardest enemy, the Scorchbeast Queen, in just five seconds. The group’s Fallout 76 Scorchbeast Queen kill set the world record for a legitimate defeat of the boss, according to YouTuber TYR.
TYR highlighted the Queen Killers’ efforts in a video uploaded yesterday. The video includes two clips from Queen Killers R Us members that show the players defeating the flying Fallout 76 Scorchbeast Queen almost immediately after it lands. The Queen Killers used Fallout 76’s Bloodied Unyielding melee build, which is notorious in the Fallout 76 community for being incredibly overpowered. In the first clip in TYR’s video, one of the Queen Killers members, RFxcGinnie, can be seen dealing almost 22,000 damage per hit using the build.

As TYR points out, players (like this one) have previously been able to kill the Fallout 76 Scorchbeast Queen in less time using a glitch that allows for players to do tens of thousands of damage points to the boss. The Queen Killers R Us’ defeat of the boss is the fastest so far without glitches, according to TYR. Queen Killers R Us is an Xbox One-based group, self-titled as “the Hard Hitters Crew” and “the ones who make her drop.”
Despite its rough launch, Fallout 76 has apparently garnered a following of dedicated fans like those in the Queen Killers R Us group. Bethesda revealed a Fallout 76 roadmap back in February that detailed the game’s upcoming additions, promising new quests, game modes, and features. Included in the roadmap was the Fallout 76 Wastelanders expansion, which, as Bethesda later revealed at E3 2019, would bring NPCs to the game for the first time.
Even with this promising expansion on the horizon, Fallout 76 has still been mired in controversy. An April patch brought repair kits to the game’s real-money Atomic Shop, despite Bethesda’s previous commitment to only selling cosmetic microtransactions. Bethesda did make right on one of the game’s many controversies, though, when it finally fulfilled the promise of delivering canvas bags to players who purchased the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition.
