All Gamers Have To Do Is Ask For A Rechargeable Xbox One Controller

Responding to reporters, Microsoft has stated that the company heard from consumers and included a chat headset in the console package in response.

During today's Xbox One unboxing video, Larry Hyrb pulled every cable and component out of a retail Xbox One cardboard box and remarked on how fantastic they all were. Even the power brick has a fancy two-tone finish to match the Xbox One and while the Xbox One controller will come complete with two AA batteries for operation, I'd much rather have a rechargeable controller.

Rechargeable batteries are more economical, better for the environment (given that you're not using up batteries and throwing them away), and they even allow you to quickly plug your controller in and continue playing during a heated multiplayer battle of which there will be many on Xbox One.

Thankfully, as Microsoft told Kotaku, all we have to do is ask! Responding to that site's inquiry, Microsoft said "We're always thinking about what's next for the platform, and adding the Chat Headset is something we've been discussing internally for some time. We heard from gamers that a headset was an important part of the gaming experience, so we decided to include the Xbox One Headset in the Xbox One bundle."

You heard 'em, gamers. Might I suggest the #BatteriesSuck hashtag for your campaign?
