The Game Awards will feature “around 10 new games/project” that have yet to be revealed, according to producer Geoff Keighley. This number apparently doesn’t include games that have seemingly been leaked already, including the as-yet-unconfirmed Resident Evil 3 remake.
Keighley made the comment in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, leading to much speculation regarding what could be announced at the show.
“We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show — I think there are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet,” Keighley said. “As always the Internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show…but it sure is fun to read :)”

It’s unknown which games Keighley is referring to. Former Arkane developers Raphael Colantonio and Julien Roby have confirmed that a game from their new studio, WolfEye, will be revealed during the show (via GamesIndustry.biz). However, as Keighley has stated that The Game Awards’ announcements are currently unknown, it’s uncertain if he’s counting this project among the 10 games.
The Game Awards will go live on December 13, with the likes of Death Stranding, Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Control all in contention for its annual Game of the Year award.
