The Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo introductory cutscene has been leaked, suggesting that the game will be playable in the very near future. This follows news that the demo had appeared on a tracking site, pointing to an upcoming PSN release.
The intro cutscene was posted online after the Final Fantasy 7 Remake was listed on tracking site Gamstat. The site had previously been responsible for leaking the Resident Evil 3 remake before it had been officially announced by Capcom.

A Reddit user also reportedly uncovered the demo’s files, posting them on the FF7 subreddit. This information pointed to the demo containing “seven scenarios,” though users have speculated this could be referring to the number of cinematics that will appear in the teaser.
This information appearing online at once suggests that the demo is on its way. With Square Enix’s JRPG set to release in March 2020, it’s looking likely that the demo could land in January.
