BioShock: The Collection is seemingly coming to the Nintendo Switch, with the trilogy having been rated for the console. The collection includes remastered editions of BioShock and BioShock 2, along with a ‘Complete Edition’ of BioShock Infinite.
The ratings appeared on the Taiwanese ratings board, with it including four separate titles including BioShock: The Collection. With all three BioShock games being listed individually, it could be that they’ll be available to purchase separately or as part of a bundle.
The ratings are listed under Take-Two Asia, with all four titles being certified as R for “Violence, Tobacco & Alcohol, Improper Language.” The release date is currently unlisted.
The games included in the listing are as follows:
- BioShock Remastered
- BioShock 2 Remastered
- BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition
- BioShock: The Collection
The BioShock series has eluded the Nintendo Switch so far, with it having yet to be ported to the console. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed by Nintendo, the appearance of its age rating certainly suggests that we should receive an announcement sooner rather than later.
ALSO: Would you buy a Nintendo Switch Pro?
The rating also adds further credibility to the rumor that a Nintendo Direct presentation will be held shortly. As we’ve seen in the past, Switch-related announcements tend to leak or are prematurely revealed ahead of a Direct being announced, so this could point towards a Direct taking place in the near future.
