Despite the fact that the PlayStation 4 is believed to be the more technically powerful next-gen console, Microsoft is confident that the Xbox One will be able to hold its own in the graphics department just fine.
In fact, Microsoft director of product planning Albert Penello told Rev3Games that he believes no game we've seen on competing platforms can compete with the visual marvels that are Ryse: Son of Rome and Forza Motorsport 5.
The people that are speculating on this are not our hardware engineers, and we’re not Sony’s hardware engineers. I don’t believe that the difference between these two platforms is significant as comparing individual components.
When I look at these games, I don’t see a difference. I look at games like Ryse, I look at Forza, and I don’t see anything better on a competing platform than what I’m seeing there.
