Resident Evil 3 remake European Collector's Edition Price

Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition announced for Europe, includes extras over the North American version

The Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition for Europe has been revealed. Once again, the European collector’s edition includes items not available in the North American version. However, the differences aren’t as glaring as they were for Resident Evil 2.

Those who purchase the Resident Evil 3 European Collector’s Edition will get:

  • A physical copy of Resident Evil 3 remake with lenticular packaging.
  • A 2-Disc CD soundtrack
  • A Raccoon City map poster
  • An 11-inch Jill Valentine statue with S.T.A.R.S. logo base
  • A Project: N and Project: R artbook
  • A box to contain all the above shaped like an item box with the S.T.A.R.S. logo

Resident Evil 3 Europe Collector's Edition

The main difference between the North American Resident Evil 3 remake Collector’s Edition and the European version is that the former doesn’t come with a lenticular case and offers a digital download of the game’s soundtrack instead of the physical two-disc CD album.

Of course, those extras will cost European customers extra. The Resident Evil 3 remake collector’s edition will retail for £214.00 ($281.00) in Europe as opposed to $179.99 in North America. I’m not a math wizard, but it seems like a lenticular case, and two C.D.s don’t add $100 of value.

Regardless of the price difference, if you haven’t already pre-ordered the Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition, you probably won’t get one. For North American customers, it’s a GameStop exclusive, and it’s been sold out practically from the moment the listing went live. For the U.K., the collector’s edition is a GAME exclusive, and it’s already sold out there as well. Of note, the GAME listing doesn’t mention the European extras shown in the P.R. shot of the collection, so who knows what version customers ordering from there will get.

Unfortunately, if you’re a huge Resident Evil fan and this is a must-own item for you, then you’ll likely have to deal with the legion of eBay scalpers who have bought multiple copies to sell at a premium. We saw these same supply issues with the Resident Evil 2 remake collector’s edition. Unfortunately, as neither GAME nor GameStop limits the number of purchases an individual can make, you’ll have to act fast to grab one of these if they come back in stock.
