The Modern Warfare Valentine’s Day playlist update is a bit different from previous ones. The Modern Warfare February 14 playlist update brings some holiday-themed name changes to the game, which had us rolling with laughter.
The playlists themselves aren’t different, besides having double XP added to a few. However, the Valentine’s Day-themed names add a touch of humor to the otherwise standard update.

If you login to Modern Warfare today you’ll see the regular playlist names have changed to:

- Capture the Flag
- Infected
- HC Team Deathmatch
- Singles Appreciation Day
- Virtual Rendezvous
- Hurts So Good
- HC Search and Destroy
- HC Headquarters
- HC Kill Confirmed
- Playing the Field
- HC 10V10 Most Pit
Also, some modes have been changed, as well. This week’s mode list is:
- Quick Play
- Realism Ground War
- Friends With Benefits
- Double Date
- Third Wheel
- Ready to Mingle
- Private Match & Trials
In addition to the Valentine’s Day playlist name changes, Infinity Ward made a few adjustments. The most significant difference with the Modern Warfare February 14 playlist update is that Tavorsk District has been removed from Ground War for bug fixes. Players can also partake in Gunfight Tournaments starting today and earn rewards for winning.
