Mediatonic and Devolver Digital’s Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been delayed. A new Fall Guys release date has been confirmed following the delay, however.
Initially slated for an early 2020 release date, the new Fall Guys release date is now tentatively set as summer 2020, it has been confirmed. Unfortunately, this is just a vague release time. We still don’t know for certain outside of summer 2020 when the Takeshi’s Castle-esque game will release.

The delay was confirmed in the first of a new series of developer diaries from Mediatonic and Devolver Digital: Fall Guys – Behind The Stumbles Part One, which you can watch at the end of this post. This new video series will look to tell us all we need to know about Fall Guys.
Thanks to an interview over on the PlayStation Blog, we know that the developers see Fall Guys as “the greatest game show ever.” It certainly looks like a stumbly, colorful ode to Takeshi’s Castle and It’s a Knockout. Fall Guys should release on PS4 and PC this summer. Check out the Behind the Stumbles Part One video below.
