Bad news for April game releases: a Minecraft Dungeons release date delay could be coming due to the developer’s “impacted workflows.” It’s still up in the air, but you may be waiting a little while longer to play Minecraft Dungeons.
“As we’re working from home to do our part in protecting our community, our workflows will unfortunately be impacted,” stated a tweet on the official Minecraft Dungeons Twitter account. “We’re working hard to deliver Minecraft Dungeons in April, but we’re also re-evaluating our timeline to make sure we bring you the best game possible. Stay tuned!”

The developers are echoing a sentiment that’s been expressed across the gaming industry. More and more people are working from home (or not working at all) as the world tries to combat a pandemic, and that means that some of the games we’re hoping to see could get delayed. Heck, a few of them already have been delayed.
For now, it seems that there might not be a Minecraft Dungeons release date delay. Let’s hope they can get the game out in April 2020 without risking their health!
