EGX Rezzed 2020 canceled

EGX Rezzed 2020 canceled as latest lockdown loss

EGX Rezzed was originally scheduled to celebrate all things indie gaming at London’s Tobacco Dock this March. It was first postponed to July by organizers, but now, due to the unprecedented global situation, this year’s event has been canceled altogether. The unfortunate EGX Rezzed 2020 canceled news did come with an encouraging promise that the event will return in 2021, however.

In a statement, Gamer Network and Reed Pop explained that after “extensive discussions” with all relevant parties they elected “not to go ahead” with EGX Rezzed 2020. The larger-scale EGX 2020 event is still scheduled to take place at ExCeL London this September, and those that purchased tickets to Rezzed have been automatically upgraded at no cost.

Whether EGX 2020 will go ahead as planned still remains to be seen. Fingers crossed we’re back to some semblance of normality by September and the show can go off without a hitch.
