It's been almost four full months since The Last of Us dropped, and up until now, we didn't know when the promised single-player DLC expansion would be arriving for Season Pass holders, nor what other Season Pass DLC would be on the horizon. But this morning, Naughty Dog laid out their plans including a timeframe for releasing the much-anticipated story-driven single-player DLC.
The first of the Season Pass DLC will be multiplayer content in the form of the Abandoned Territories Map Pack. Releasing on October 15th, the Abandoned Territories Map Pack brings four new playable maps in each multiplayer mode: Suburbs, Bookstore, Hometown, and Bus Depot.
The second Season Pass DLC will be the one we're all anxiously awaiting: the story-driven, single-player DLC pack that Naughty Dog has revealed will feature a new playable character. No further details were given, however, Naughty Dog did reveal that this will be releasing within the December-January timeframe.
Finally, the third Season Pass DLC will be another multiplayer-focused DLC pack and will arrive in the first half of 2014. Naughty Dog didn't comment further on what this DLC pack would entail, so stay tuned for more details.
