If you’ve been wanting to learn about Ancient Greece and Egypt but in video game form, Ubisoft is here to help you out at no extra cost. For a limited time, the publisher is offering the Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour modes for free on PC. This offer extends until May 21 at 11 AM local time, whenever that may be to you.
You can head to the official Ubisoft website to claim your prize. There are two links to visit, one for Origins and one for Odyssey.

Discover Tour modes let players inhabit these sprawling worlds and explore them like a virtual museum with a voiced tour guide teaching you the cultural intricacies that the teams at Ubisoft learned while making the game. They don’t have combat or quests so there is no pressure. Just follow the golden paths and learn at your own pace without worrying about a mercenary tracking you down.
Both games received these as free post-launch updates. Origins recieved its Discovery Tour in February 2018 (around four months after launch) while Odyssey players had to wait a bit longer as that patch hit in September (nearly 11 months after release). It is unknown if Valhalla is going to get its own Discovery Tour mode but, given the trend, it is very likely it will one day.
