A Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PC release date has finally been announced, and that’s not all — believe it or not, this revived role-playing game is getting a new expansion after years of dormancy.
A press release from THQ Nordic has announced that the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PC release date is September 8, 2020. The game will be making its way to other platforms as well, of course — PS4 and Xbox One are slated for a release — but the most surprising revelation is that a new expansion is on the way.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Fatesworn will continue the adventures of players in the world of Amalur. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about this upcoming expansion that’s slated for a 2021 release.

Kingdoms of Amalur was originally released back in 2012 for the previous generation of consoles. It enjoyed a decent critical reception, but the studio behind the game eventually filed for bankruptcy and closed down. THQ Nordic picked up the rights to the IP in 2018.
