Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 delayed 2021

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 delayed to 2021

A desire for the “best player experience possible” will see Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 delayed to 2021, killing any hopes of this new game from Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs making a 2020 release date.

“Our goal has always been to deliver the best game possible, to immerse you into a Seattle re-imagined in the World of Darkness, and deliver a worth successor to the original Bloodlines game,” began a message from the developers on the game’s official Twitter. “Due to the quality bar and ambitions we have set for ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time.”

Why was Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 delayed? The tweet doesn’t specify, but it seems like the developers have figured that they wouldn’t be able to get the game out in time while maintaining the level of quality they want to deliver.

This isn’t the first time the game has been delayed, either; it was originally supposed to launch in early 2020. While another delay may be a shame to some of you waiting to get into a great World of Darkness RPG, but at least you fill your scary games quotient with the upcoming Control expansion.
