As I'm sure you all suspected, we'll finally be getting some actual information on Nintendo's first original Zelda title for Wii U at next year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Speaking to Mashable, series producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the next proper console entry in Nintendo's long-standing franchise will be revealed—to what extent, however, remains unknown. "I'll say more at E3 2014," Aonuma replied when asked by the outlet when Zelda fans can expect to learn more.
We know next to nothing about this new game aside from the fact that it will (probably) star a young hero named Link along with an evil man named Ganondorf and a princess named Zelda. We were teased a couple of years back at E3 with a tech demo showing off the capabilities of Nintendo's tablet-centric console; however, if history is any indication, what we saw isn't necessarily what we'll get.
