If you’re hoping for a Resident Evil Village PS4 and Xbox One release, there’s good news and there’s bad news: Capcom would like to bring the game to these consoles, but they can’t make any promises just yet.
Resident Evil Village is the next great adventure in the Resident Evil franchise. Capcom has been building up hype for this new game over the last several months, but there’s still a lot we don’t yet know about this game. A new livestream debuted today, and one of the topics discussed was a Resident Evil Village PS4 and Xbox One release.
“We’re looking into it,” Producer Tsuyoshi Kanda said during the livestream according to Game Informer. “But we can’t make any promises. However, we will do our best in creating a top-tier survival horror experience on current generation consoles.”
This is certainly promising news for people who might not want to buy a PS5 or Xbox Series X just yet. That said, Capcom’s main focus is on getting the game ready for next-gen consoles. Either way, we don’t even know what the Resident Evil Village release date is just yet, so there’s probably going to be quite the wait.
