Master Chief and Blood Gulch CTF land in Fortnite

Master Chief and Blood Gulch CTF land in Fortnite

The realm of Fortnite continues to draw in characters from other universes. Chapter 2 Season 5 set the game up to include content from practically any fandom, and the newest additions come from the Halo franchise. In a special announcement at The Game Awards 2020, the crew from Red vs. Blue revealed that not only is Master Chief landing in Fortnite, but classic Halo map Blood Gulch is as well.

It just couldn’t be a classic Halo reveal without the return of Red vs. Blue. Though newer fans may not be familiar with the series, longtime followers certainly are. The crew halted their hiatus and came to the virtual stage with plenty of good news: Master Chief is the latest addition to the expanding Fortnite universe. The Master Chief skin is available for purchase for 1500 V-Bucks, and it includes the holographic Battle Legend Back Bling.

But the news gets better. Fortnite players will soon be able to drop into classic Halo map Blood Gulch. Available in Creative mode and designed by the team at Atlas Creative, Blood Gulch notably allows fans to engage in Capture the Flag gameplay. Talk about a true-to-form Halo experience.
