Thieves Steal All Of A Game Store’s Call Of Duty: Ghosts Preorders

The Game MD in Windsor, Canada, was robbed last weekend of all of their preorder copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

"This is where they entered…they smashed a hole through the concrete block, they made their way inside, they smashed the alarm system, and then they shopped," store owner Roy McLean told CTV Windsor.

The thieves stole about $75,000 in games and equipment, including 150 copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts, which forced McLean to cancel his midnight launch event.

"We were going to have a midnight launch for this game and I expected to have 100-130 people lined up outside my door," he said.

They also stole the company's hard drive with all of the security tape data. What's worse is that McLean said this robbery was so meticulously done, he thinks the ring leader is someone he knows. The robbers knew exactly how to get in, where to find everything, and how to dismantle McLean's security.

The Game MD is not a chain; it's a solo store with a solo entrepreneur, McLean.
