The Fortnite pop culture collabs keep coming thick and fast, and, judging by a recent leak, the iconic Xenomorph could be next to join the roster. A potential Fortnite x Alien crossover is garnering attention on social media, following the appearance of new assets within the game files. The possible arrival of a Xenomorph Fortnite skin will allow fans to recreate scenes from the Aliens vs. Predator movie franchise.
Fortnite x Alien | Leaked Xenomorph skin details
Predator recently joined the Fortnite cast, so the arrival of a terrifying Xenomorph outfit would make a lot of sense. There’s a precedent for recognizable 80s movie monsters making their way to the game, with H. R. Geiger’s creation being the obvious next step.
Leaked game assets point towards a Fortnite x Alien collaboration arriving as the next in-game portal event. Artwork depicting the Nostromo spaceship, along with sound effects belonging to the Alien motion tracker and Xenomorph, are now within the game files. This seems like a clear indication that Alien cosmetics are coming to Fortnite.

Shared by data miner @ShiinaBR, the Fortnite Alien assets could indicate that a Xenomorph skin is coming soon. Potentially, very soon.
Last week saw similar assets leak for a Fortnite x Street Fighter collab, which it didn’t take long for developer Epic Games to act upon. If the same applies here, the Fortnite Xenomorph skin release date could be as soon as today, Wednesday, February 24, 2021. That isn’t a guarantee, of course, but it’s worth keeping a close eye on the Item Shop nonetheless.
Potentially, a Fortnite x Alien crossover could include more than just a Xenomorph skin. A Fortnite Ellen Ripley outfit and Colonial Marines skins would be great to see; not to mention weapon wraps pertaining to the seminal Pulse Rifle and Flamethrower.
