[Update 3] The teaser site has been updated again, revealing that it was all just an elaborate hoax. Bethesda also confirmed this via Twitter.
[Update 2] The alleged Fallout 4 teaser site has been updated yet again. If you head over to TheSurvivor2299.com you'll notice that just above the countdown timer it says, "Nuclear winter has come."
[Update 1] The alleged Fallout teaser site has been updated with a new message in Morse Code. It has been deciphered on Reddit and says: "CQ CQ DE OZ PSE AS," which means: "Calling any station, calling any station, calling any station, this is/from Oscar Zulu Please Stand by."
Could this have something to do with the Oscar Zulu Station in Fallout 3? Let the speculation commence in the comments below!
[Original] Teaser site TheSurvivor2299.com has been registered to Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media, leading many to believe that a Fallout 4 announcement is on the horizon.
The site was discovered by Reddit users, who directly found mention of Fallout in the javascript code, as well as mention of a December 11th reveal via the site's Morse code. It's worth mentioning that the site was registered through channels ZeniMax doesn't traditionally use, so this could all just be one big hoax, but the Fallout fan in me is really hoping it's legit.
Let's also not forget that next month brings with it Spike's annual Video Game Awards show, which will most certainly feature plenty of exciting announcements. Might Fallout 4 be one of them? Looks like we'll just have to wait and see!
