A new Fortnite Superman skin is being teased for Epic Games’ battle royale phenomenon and is coming sooner than fans may think. The Fortnite Superman skin release date is due to drop alongside Chapter 2 Season 7, which is highly appropriate as all the signs point to it being alien-themed. If accurate, Superman will join the ranks of Fortnite DC heroes Batman and Harley Quinn in the game.
What is the Fortnite Superman skin release date?
If the tease from the Fortnite official Twitter account is indeed for Superman, as it appears to be, then the skin and character have a release date for tomorrow, June 8, alongside the launch of Chapter 2 Season 7.
The tweet can be seen below, which seems to be for Clark Kent’s glasses, specifically the long made-fun-of trope about how Superman can hide his identity with just them.

Fans have known for a while that Fortnite Season 7 will be alien-themed, and there’s even a weird alien phone number for people to call. Given that Superman is one of the most famous aliens around and Fortnite has a good partnership with DC Comics at the moment — there’s even a physical Fortnite/Batman crossover comic going on right now — it would seem a natural fit for the Man of Steel to appear in the next part of Fortnite Chapter 2.
Superman certainly wouldn’t be the first comic book skin to appear in Fortnite. The Batman and Catwoman character skin packs are likely returning to the store soon, and alongside Superman Epic Games also seems to be teasing a crossover with Marvel’s Loki Disney Plus series, which also launches this week.
As for Superman himself, he’s set to appear in Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sometime next year, unless the rumors of Mortal Kombat and Injustice developer Netherrealm’s next game being a DC vs Marvel fighting game prove to be true.
