Riders Republic Player Count

Riders Republic has an extreme number of players

Riders Republic finally got a solid release date in a trailer at Ubisoft Forward at E3 2021. Players will be able participate in 50-player races while mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuit flying, and rocket wingsuiting, and we got to see some of this gameplay highlighted today.

What’s the Riders Republic player count?

Ubisoft has positioned Riders Republic as a “massively multiplayer sports game,” which means there’ll be a huge player count. The next-gen and PC versions of the game will support 50 players per race, while the PS4 and Xbox One will be limited to 20. There will also be a 6v6 competitive mode called Tricks Battle Arena, where two teams vie to outscore each other. The main map will also allow players to hang out together and may support an even higher player count than 50, though Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed specifics yet.

The open world covers seven American national parks stiched together into one map. Players can visit Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain, and Grand Teton and players have free reign to experience it using all six modes of transportation.

Originally revealed at Ubisoft Forward in September 2020, Riders Republic was slated to release on February 25, 2021. Unfortunately, in January of this year, Ubisoft announced that the game would be delayed. Still, it looks like that time was well used. This title seems to build on the success of Steep on PlayStation Plus and leans into accessibility more than simulation. As such, it looks like it’ll be a great party game, especially with the high player count in some of the modes.

Riders Republic will release on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 2, 2021.
