ratchet and clank rift apart ps5 bundle

Ratchet and Clank PS5 bundle is rumored despite console stock shortages

Rumors of a Ratchet and Clank PS5 bundle just received some strong supporting evidence. Images of the alleged Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart PlayStation 5 console bundle are making their way online, which, naturally, has those struggling to find a console seeking out the potential release date. Rift Apart is the latest PlayStation 5 exclusive, though many players are unable to purchase the new title due to ongoing next-gen hardware stock shortages.

When is the Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart PS5 bundle release date?

The Ratchet and Clank PS5 bundle release date is allegedly June 11, 2021. This coincides with the launch of the game, which would make it a hasty

According to @StationOfPlay, the R&C: Rift Apart PS5 bundle is launching tomorrow. If accurate, there are two possibilities: Sony unveils the bundle and starts taking pre-orders today, or they “surprise” launch tomorrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Either way, the bundles will reportedly cost €570 to €580 in Europe. That’s approximately $700 for a standard PS5 and a copy of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart in the U.S.A. It isn’t yet clear whether a less expensive bundle containing the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition might also exist.

Although increased availability is something buyers have been waiting months for, some deem the potential bundle somewhat controversial. The PS5 is currently unavailable almost everywhere, the implication being that Sony has held back console hardware to pack in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. That’s not an issue for customers that want to play the game (with good reason), though it could force others to unnecessarily spend more.

For those in the latter camp, the Ratchet and Clank PS5 console at least looks to retain its classic design. Seeing a Lombax emblazoned on the side might’ve been a step too far.

In other recent news, Call of Duty: Vanguard looks to be skipping E3 2021. It isn’t all bad, though, as rumors indicate there could be an in-game CoD: Warzone reveal. There might be even more FPS action on the way, too — leaks indicate a Battlefield 2042 open beta is coming.
