Can I stream the Halo Infinite tech preview beta?

Can I stream the Halo Infinite tech preview beta

Yes, you can stream Halo Infinite to your heart’s content without worry about any copyright repercussions. The good news was confirmed by the Halo Community Director Brian Jarrard in a tweet earlier today:

It’s great news for online creators, as more and more publishers are clamping down on Twitch streams of their games. Big games like GTA Online have peculiar rules regarding streaming and copyright. Lots of streamers have faced DCMA takedowns in response to their streams, especially from playing in-game, licensed music. Therefore, it’s great news that Halo is totally fine to stream. It’ll also please fans who weren’t able to get their hands on a preview code, as many found that some fans were getting priority over long-term Halo players.

Whether the rule might change for the upcoming full beta of Halo Infinite, it’s currently hard to say. This technically isn’t a beta but rather a ‘tech preview’ to ensure the game runs as it should, and to gauge players’ responses to the game’s current state. There’s sure to be full-scale beta tests in the future, and 343 Industries could change the streaming rules for those. However, all we know at the moment is that streaming the Halo Infinite tech preview is totally allowed.

In other news, the mysterious Blue Box Abandoned project has a new teaser based around Metal Gear, using premade assets in the footage. The first details on upgrading PS5 storage is also here, but it’s a very expensive venture.
