LEGO Star Wars

The LEGO Star Wars Halloween special will release on Disney Plus on October 1, 2021. Yes, LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales is only two months away.

The special was announced today in a tweet from the official Star Wars Twitter account. While there isn’t a trailer or further details out yet, the poster does show Darth Vader’s unmistakable red lightsaber emerging from a grave, with the second Death Star in the background. Therefore, you can bet that there will be some sort of zombie-style storyline in the special. The title also hints at more than one Terrifying Tale. It might mean it’s like a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror-style compilation.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that LEGO and Star Wars have crossed over for themed specials. Late last year, The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special was released on Disney Plus. Set after The Rise of Skywalker, it followed Rey as she time-traveled throughout the franchise’s history to witness the key moments first-hand. Before that, there was a series of shorts under the ‘New Yoda Chronicles’ banner, as well as a recent short called The Resistance Rises. Currently, don’t know how long the Halloween special will be. The recent Holiday Special lasted around 50 minutes – so expect something of a similar length.

In other news, a new Pokemon Unite update has finally nerfed Gengar. We’ve also got all the details on the new Fortnite update, and what it contains.
