Ghostface, the murderer from the Scream franchise, will join Call of Duty: Warzone this Halloween. That’s according to leaked in-game files, which tease even more new skins to come. Halloween is always a big event in Warzone, with least year’s iteration introducing zombies, and this holiday looks set to receive the same treatment. Join us as we dig into all the leaked info, to see which horror icons will join the battle royale sensation this Fall.
Call of Duty: Warzone Halloween event leaks
The main leak we have so far is the news that Scream’s Ghostface will be a playable Warzone operator very soon.
That’s according to TheGhostOfHope, a Call of Duty leaker, as they revealed plenty of new information earlier today. The Warzone Halloween event will supposedly be called “All Hallows Eve.” It’s currently unclear whether new limited-time modes will release. However, last Halloween saw The Haunting of Verdansk, with nighttime modes and a Zombies Royale LTM. It also introduced some horror-based skins. Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre joined the game, as well as Billy the puppet, from Saw.

As such, you can probably expect another horror icon to join Ghostface as a new Warzone operator. There’s nothing confirmed yet, but TheGhostOfHope suggests Halloween’s Michael Myers. It’s a good suggestion, given the new movie Halloween Kills is releasing this October. Therefore, it’s worth keeping an eye out for new horror-based operators within the next month.
Additionally, there will likely be some new limited-time modes, too. You can expect nighttime battle royale modes to return, as well as zombies, given the horror themes running through those variations on Warzone. Whether we’ll get any new LTMs is currently unclear – though given Vanguard is just around the corner, it would certainly be good promotion.
In other news, the Guardians of the Galaxy comic run has been canceled by Marvel. There’s also an iPad Mini 6 glitch that’s preventing users from properly scrolling.
