Valheim update 0.203.11

Here’s every change in the new Valheim 0.203.10 update for PC:

  • Lower melee weapon stamina drain.
  • Knives have more durability.
  • Atgeir, Blackmetal axe, Bronze spear tweaks.
  • Parry ranged attacks staggers caster again.
  • Night-spawning monsters despawn faster in the morning.
  • Fuling AI tweaks (spreads out and circles more).
  • Longer Lox attack cooldowns.
  • Frost damage slowdown fix.
  • Oven and cooking station drop food items when destroyed.
  • Acorn and Birch seed drop rates increased.
  • Tweaked some food stats based on the effort to craft:
    • Blood pudding
    • Boar jerky
    • Bread
    • Deer stew
    • Mincemeat sauce
    • Wolf jerky
  • Onion seed icon tweak.
  • Gamepad sensitivity save fix.
  • Torch + weapon jog animation fix.
  • Wood log 26° and 45° stability fix.
  • Shield tutorial trigger fix for wood shields.
  • Removed comfort from Crystal wall.
  • Jack-o-turnip enabled.

Combat, crafting, and resource tweaks all fall in players’ favor to help make braving Valheim’s Norse wilds a little less intimidating. Of course, there are also some valuable glitch fixes that should ensure players no longer encounter certain animation, building, and control bugs on PC.

Topping it all off, Iron Gate has enabled the Jack-o-turnip item so that players can decorate their homesteads in a fitting seasonal fashion. Crafting one requires turnips and resin — for anyone wondering, folks would actually make jack-o’-lanterns from turnips and not pumpkins way back when.

In other news, it’s already Rage’s 10th anniversary. Time sure flies, though this can sometimes have a negative effect on games — take Diablo 2: Resurrected, for example.

Over in the movie world, somehow, Sony seems to have forgotten the Hotel Transylvania 4 launch date.
