It looks like The Batman 2022 runtime may have been leaked thanks to reported screenings taking place for the highly anticipated next Batman movie, which releases in March next year. According to a report online, The Batman 2022 movie length was revealed along with general details about the plot, along with the roles of both Batman (Robert Pattinson) and main villain The Riddler (Paul Dano) — and a brand new The Batman teaser in advance of its DC Fandome appearance.

According to a new report, The Batman movie’s runtime or length will be almost three hours. According to Twitter user and movie leaker @ViewerAnon on Twitter, further test screenings for the upcoming new Batman movie were held and the feature apparently stands as “a nearly three-hour-long detective story.”
Other details ViewerAnon reports include that the movie is a “full-blown noir film” which is set around Halloween, and a lot of Robert Pattinson’s dialogue is read through voiceover journal entries — which sound similar to inner monologue dialogue boxes in the comics. “He’s just Batman with little interest in being Bruce,” according to ViewerAnon.
As for The Riddler, he is compared to Jigsaw from the Saw movies, including a moment where a character is “locked in an explosive collar and has to solve three riddles in order to get the combination” — similar to what Riddler did to Catwoman in Batman: Arkham Knight.

The Batman will arrive on March 4, 2022. LEGO sets for the movie have recently been revealed that tease multiple potential story points, and there may be a crossover with Fortnite coming too.
