The A Quiet Place game has been given a release date window of 2022, with no platforms having been announced at the time of this writing. More details regarding the game were announced via a press release today.

“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said Hervé Sliwa, Creative Director at iLLOGIKA. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”

“The amazing success of the A Quiet Place movies makes it clear audiences are hungry for more adventures in this universe, and iLLOGIKA is creating their own truly engaging experience that lives up to the name of this beloved property. We are proud to say that A Quiet Place is the first game we will be releasing by an external studio from the growing Saber publishing label,” said Todd Hollenshead, Head of Publishing at Saber Interactive.

Judging by the announcement, it seems that A Quiet Place won’t continue the story of the films, meaning that Emily Blunt is unlikely to star. However, with director John Krasinski having already spoken on how the movie’s universe could expand beyond him in the future, it seems that this could be just the first spin-off we’re seeing when it comes to the horror franchise’s alien invasion.

In other news, reviews of both the Eternals movie and the Guardians of the Galaxy game went live, with the latter surprisingly ranking higher than the former. The Batgirl movie also revealed the shock casting of Brendan Fraser as its villain.
