Xbox 360 was undoubtedly most popular in North America, with Sony's PlayStation 3 proving to be console of choice in Europe, Japan, and beyond.
As such, the fact that analyst DFC is expecting Microsoft's latest console to find the bulk of its success in North America shouldn't come as all that much of a surprise.
The Xbox One is a system that is likely to do much better in North America than the rest of the world. The system’s appeal is limited more to a core demographic. The game Titanfall, scheduled for release in March 2014, will be a key exclusive for Xbox One that could help drive system sales.
