DirectX 11 Comes to Crysis 2 on June 27th

Babies! That's what you are! Xbox 360?! More like "12 YEAR OLDS: THE GAME"!! PS3? More like "CRY TO YOUR MOMMY 3"!! Don't even get me started on the Wii! That piece of garbage smells like a stinky diap– What did you say?! WHAT DID YOU SAY?! HANDHELDS?!?! BWAHAHAHA

Hey, what did you think of my elite PC gamer impression? I've been working on it. I know it's not there yet, but I think it's coming along. It's even funnier when you think about the fact that I have a Mac…. Frankly, I'm a little intimidated by PC gaming, and I need to get over it because I'm looking at a whole new rig just for Battlefield 3. Certainly, if I manage to get my machine together and running before October, I should try a couple of games to see how it runs, right?

It may be time to add Crysis 2 on your list of graphics-intensive PC games because Crytek announced that they've got a new compatibility update that'll bring their New York City based shooter up to DirectX 11 standards. They'll be releasing a high-resolution texture pack along side that upgrade so that everything looks really shiny.

You can expect the update to melt your computer on June 27th.
