Watch Halo TV Series With Free Paramount Plus Trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Microsoft understands that Halo fans want to watch the upcoming live-action Halo TV show simply named Halo The Series, but many don’t have subscriptions to Paramount Plus. And so, anyone with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be able to secure a special promotion for a free 30-day membership trial to Paramount Plus starting on March 23.  That’s one day before the release of Halo The Series so that you have ample time to get your account set up and ready to go.

Some warnings before you accept on this Halo TV series promotion

Before you sign up for the free trial just to get access to the Halo TV show, let us give you a friendly reminder: The full season of Halo The Series is nine episodes, and so with one episode per week, the 30-day membership will only last you through the first five episodes.

So if you want to watch the rest of the series, you’re going to need to shell out more money for another month of Paramount Plus, which at its lowest price point currently costs $4.99/month. That said, you could just wait for the show to finish its first season and then subscribe for one month to binge the entire show in one setting.

Also, before delving into the TV show, note that the continuity of Halo The Series will be different from the storylines already set in the existing Halo universe. It will still feature Master Chief and other familiar characters, but it takes place in an alternate canon called the “Silver Timeline” so that it’s not a rote retelling of a story that fans already know.

The featured shows available with a Paramount Plus subscription are Star Trek Picard, 1883, and Star Trek Discovery. You can also bundle the subscription with Showtime for some savings, as well as watch free episodes on several channels like CBS, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.

In other news, GameStop is betting on NFTs due to its losses this year, and Gran Turismo 7 is getting review-bombed on Metacritic.
