The folks over at Ubisoft are allegedly working on two separate Assassin's Creed games for release next year.
According to a report from Examiner, an inside source has revealed that the company is developing one game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while the other is specifically designed around last-gen hardware, namely Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Keep in mind that Ubisoft has not confirmed these reports, so we'll have to treat this as rumor for the time being. That said, do you think developing two separate experiences to handle the generational gap is a wise move? Should all of those resources instead just be focused on the latest platforms, or is supporting last-gen hardware still important? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
