There are two new Pikachu plushies that have been added to the Pokemon Build A Bear range that is available online right now. The first is a male Pikachu with a winking face, sparkly yellow fur, 6-in-1 sound, and a lightning bolt-shaped tail. The second is a female Pikachu with a smiling face, sparkly yellow fur, 6-in-1 sound, and a heart-shaped tail. Both also have a silver paw pad with a 25th Celebration Collection emblem. Both Pokemon plushies are included in a bundle with changeable clothing, which comes in the form of a varsity jacket and a sleeper. For the male Pikachu, this is red (scarlet) colored while the female variety comes in purple (violet) colors. We’re unsure whether this is a deliberate decision in anticipation of the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet games.
The plushies are not available for separate purchase online and must be bought in a bundle with the clothing; the bundle costs $76.00 altogether. They will be available in store soon where they will be sold separately, although the company didn’t indicate exactly when “soon” would be. The two new Pikachu plushies are part of the Pokemon collection which currently includes 29 soft toys such as the standard Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Squirtle, and Meowth.
In other news, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed into the next financial year alongside a smaller unannounced premium game. Ubisoft has also canceled four games, including Splinter Cell VR and Ghost Recon Frontline, in a bid to cut costs and focus on bigger franchises.
