In a recent Pokemon Presents showcase, it was revealed that the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet legendary Pokemon, Koraidon and Miraidon, are a combination of a motorbike, a boat, and a glider. Once acquired, players will be able to use their captured Legendary Pokemon to traverse the wild landscape of the Paldea region.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violent will indeed have vehicles, as many players may have suspected, but the big surprise is that the vehicles will also be Pokemon.
Depending on which version of the game players buy, either Koraidon or Miraidon will be tasked with carrying the players across the open world. As seen in the trailer, users can join up with other players in co-op and travel across the region in arguably the most wholesome and innocent biker gang that has ever existed.
It’s not clear when exactly players will unlock their respective Legendary Pokemon. In past games, Legendary Pokemon were caught during the later stages of the story or endgame. That doesn’t appear to be the case here, as the Pokemon provide essential travel options in the open world. Therefore, this could be one of the earliest points in a Pokemon game where players receive a Legendary Pokemon! (Not counting Mystery Gift, events, or trades with friends or Wonder Trade.)
It remains to be seen if these are the only vehicle-type Pokemon available in the game and if, like in the Pokemon Legendary: Arceus title, they are only for use as mounts and are unable to be used in battle.
