Eight games will be dropping in the latter half of Xbox Game Pass August 2022, which is three more than last month’s Wave 2 catalog. A fair number of these added titles are from ID@Xbox, expanding the subscription service’s catalog of indie games. However, what will likely be more important for subscribers is what’s leaving by August 31, as it includes a lot of highly-rated games including Hades and Spiritfarer.
New Xbox Game Pass Titles for August 2022 Wave 2
Here’s a quick list of games arriving on the subscription service from now until the end of the month, in chronological order of release:
- Coffee Talk (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Available Today, August 16
- Midnight Fight Express (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 23, Available on Day One
- Exapunks – August 25
- Opus: Echo of Starsong – Full Bloom Edition (Console and PC) – August 25
- Commandos 3 – HD Remaster (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 30, Available on Day One
- Immortality (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) – August 30, Available on Day One
- Immortals Fenyx Rising (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 30
- Tinykin (Console and PC) – August 30, Available on Day One
In addition, the Showdown DLC for Naraka: Bladepoint is available now, bringing a co-operative campaign as a free update to the game. Sea of Thieves: A Hunter’s Cry, a time-limited adventure where you’ll need to save Merrick, will begin on August 18 and end on September 1. As for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks, you can get a Pass Tense Commando Rifle Bundle in Halo Infinite on August 17, an MVP Pack for MultiVersus on August 23, and a Babylon Bundle for CrossfireX on August 23.
What’s leaving Xbox Game Pass in August 2022
