The online servers for many Call of Duty games have gone down today, providing many players with Error Code 11328 as they found themselves disconnected from multiplayer gameplay. Activision was “actively investigating” these issues and has told players within the last few minutes that the “issues have been resolved and server connections are recovering.”
What is Call of Duty Error Code 11328?
Error Code 11328 means there is a problem with fetching a player’s online profile in Call of Duty games. Many players were being told “you have been disconnected from the Call of Duty servers” as a result of Error Code 11328. The servers in many Call of Duty games were down, including Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. While there’s no official way of checking the server status for games like Call of Duty: Warzone, many third-party sites had shown the problem has been ongoing for 2-3 hours before Activision managed to get things under control.
Activision support and Raven Software had been “actively investigating issues preventing players from connecting to online services in multiple Call of Duty titles.” Now the publisher is saying those issues have been fixed and players should now be able to start logging into the servers for the affected games. They are “continuing to monitor the situation closely as things improve!” Not all players seemed to be affected by the issues with PC players being affected the least, but there were still several thousand reports of issues that suggested quite a widespread problem.
