Pokemon Unite Mew Dodrio Scizor

Pokemon Unite Update Will Add Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor

Pokemon Unite is currently celebrating its first anniversary with a series of events and these will continue into September when Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor are added into the game. As well as the new Pokémon, the game will be getting a new Quick Match mode, new events, and the Theia Sky Ruins map.

When are Mew, Didrio, and Scizor coming to Pokemon Unite?

Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor will be added to Pokemon Unite on three different dates; Mew will be added on September 2, followed by Dodrio on September 14, and Scizor on September 28. Mew will have more learnable moves than any other Pokemon in the game, as well as the ability to forget and relearn moves in the middle of a battle to adjust to an opponent’s attacks. To be able to play as Mew, players will need to collect pieces of a mural in Mew’s Mural Challenge before he will become available. The new Theia Sky Ruins map will arrive on September 2 too. Set on top of a mountain, winds rush through the ruined stadium to make battles more challenging, but there is plenty of legendary Pokemon to take on to make it worth it.

At 12 AM PDT on September 9, the Legacy Trainer Showdown will begin. The event will run until 4:59 PM PDT on October 6 and will pit players against classic Pokémon trainers from various generations, led by the Galar region Champion, Leon. The game is also continuing to gift Pokemon UNITE licenses and holowear to celebrate its first anniversary. Up until 4:59 PM PDT on October 12, players need to log in on five different days to receive all five sets of log-in gifts.

Other events that will take place in September include the Invite-a-Friend Campaign and the Returning Trainer Support Event. The Invite-a-Friend Campaign starts on September 14 and runs until 4:59 PM PDT on October 6 during which players can invite friends to earn rewards. Those invited into the game will get a Bonfire Style: Slowbro as their reward. Finally, the Returning Trainer Support Event will let returning trainers team up with active players to earn points in battle. This event will begin on September 21 and run until 4:59 PM PDT on October 5.

In other gaming news, this weekend’s Xbox Free Play Days include Destiny 2. Elsewhere, the Fortnite Late Game Arena mode is set to return next week.
